These tax-deductible gifts preserve the Bellingrath legacy and provide the public with opportunities to enjoy the beauty of the Gardens while learning about the history and natural environment of the Gulf Coast.

Tribute Gifts

Tribute gifts are a unique and meaningful way to honor loved ones and celebrate big milestones, all while directly supporting Bellingrath’s mission. To make a tribute gift in honor or in memory of someone special in your life, please click the link and add a dedication, or contact Dr. Cory Sparks. We will send a personalization notification informing the person or their family member of your generous contribution. Please note: the gift amount is not included in the letter.

Commemorative Gifts

Commemorative gifts offer dedication opportunities at various spots in the Gardens. More than 140,000 visitors a year will see these gifts and they can be a special spot to bring the family together and build memories. A commemorative gift also can be an added element to a special occasion at the Garden, such as an anniversary or birthday.

Bench and Swing Dedication that can be purchased as a tribute or commemorative gift

Bench and Swing Dedications

$10,000

Bellingrath offers a limited number of benches and swings available for dedication. Dedications are $10,000 and include an engraved plaque with your desired tribute message. Dedications are for 10 years and are renewable. The Gardens team will work with you to identify potential locations that are available now and in the future.

Blooming Bed Adoptions

$5,000

Adopting a garden bed of blooms is a special way to celebrate an occasion or dedicate a beautiful space in honor or memory of a loved one. Beds can be adopted for two years with a $5,000 contribution and are renewable. A plaque will be placed in the bed for the duration of your adoption period. The Gardens team will work with you to identify potential locations that are available now and in the future.

Container Adoption that can be purchased as a tribute or commemorative gift.

Container Adoptions

$2,500

Scattered throughout the Gardens. our beautiful containers bring pops of color to overlooks and other features. Adopting a container is a unique way to celebrate an occasion or dedicate a beautiful space in honor or memory of a Loved one. Containers can be adopted for two years with a $2,500 contribution and are renewable. A plaque will be placed in the container for the duration of your adoption period. The Gardens team will work with you to identify potential locations that are available now and in the future.

Bricks

$250

Pave the way for the future at Bellingrath by honoring or memorializing a loved one. Bricks will be placed in bands in the keystone garden behind the Summer House, the initial project in our Centennial Master Plan.
