Weddings in the Gardens
Bellingrath Gardens and Home provides a picture-perfect setting for weddings and receptions and a perfect way to capture beautiful memories of your special day. For available dates and pricing, call 251.459.8968.
Dates and Hours
Bellingrath Gardens is available for your daytime Saturday wedding and/or reception May 1 through October 31. We are unable to schedule weddings during our busiest seasons. Your event must begin no later than 2:00 p.m. Our entrance closes daily at 5:00 p.m., but you and your guests may enjoy the grounds until 6:00 p.m. Shuttle service ends daily at 5:00 p.m.
Rehearsal
A rehearsal is included with a paid wedding package. The event must begin prior to the 5:00 p.m. closing of the Entrance Building but you and your guests may stay on the grounds until 6 p.m. We just need to know how many garden passes you will need in advance.
Wedding Photography Session
The bride and her photographer may schedule a photo session in the Gardens in advance of the wedding at no extra cost. Non-Bellingrath brides are charged $350 per session.

FAQs
Does Bellingrath Gardens and Home provide a bridal coordinator to help schedule and oversee events at the site?
While Bellingrath Gardens and Home is pleased to provide you with a perfect setting for your wedding or reception, we do ask that you provide your own bridal coordinator.
Can Bellingrath Gardens and Home assist with transporting guests from the parking lot to the ceremony/reception site?
Yes, shuttle service is available to wedding and reception participants and guests free of charge until 5 PM. When confirming your date, please specify whether you will take advantage of this service.
Does Bellingrath Gardens and Home provide tents, chairs, tables and linens for the reception site?
No. All items must be rented through one of our Preferred Vendors in Mobile.
Can Bellingrath Gardens and Home assist with floral arrangements for the wedding party, wedding site and reception site?
While we offer a beautiful backdrop for your special event, you are responsible for any custom arrangements, such as bride’s bouquet and altar flowers.
May I have my own caterer furnish the affair?
We recommend that you use one of our Preferred Vendors for catering, but if you would like to bring your own caterer, they must be a licensed company and approved in advance.
Can I arrange a ceremony rehearsal with members of the wedding party?
Yes, and there is no additional fee for a rehearsal. You must, however, provide advance notice on the time and number of Gardens passes needed. Please confirm with your rental company on the delivery of chairs and tables for rehearsals. Because the Entrance building closes daily at 5 PM, rehearsal events must start well in advance of closing. Guests may remain within the Gardens until dusk.
Can I preview the Gardens before I decide if it’s the right venue for my wedding or reception?
Of course! Please call 251.459.8968 to arrange a Gardens pass. The Gardens are open seven days a week from 8 AM to 5 PM, with personnel available by appointment Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4:30 PM.
How do I reserve a date for my event?
Call 251.459.8968 to reserve your date. A 50% deposit is required to hold the date and the balance must be paid no later than one month prior to the event. Make checks payable to Bellingrath Gardens and Home, attention Weddings and Receptions. You may deliver your payment in person or mail to:

What do I need to do to cancel my reservation?
Contact us immediately at 251.459.8968. A 50% cancellation fee will be charged within 60 days of the date. The full deposit is forfeited after that.
