We’re thrilled to announce a new and exciting fall festival at Bellingrath Gardens & Home—The Great Bellingrath Harvest! This fresh celebration of fall builds on our cherished tradition of family fun and will run from September 21st through October 31st. Get ready for a season brimming with fun, festivities, and family-friendly events. Our gardens will transform into a vibrant autumn wonderland, featuring delightful activities that celebrate the beauty and bounty of the harvest season. Over 5,000 pumpkins will arrive and be displayed starting the second week of October!

The Harvest Market

WHEN: Sept. 21, 2024 | 1:00 – 6:00 PM

Discover a lively medley of local vendors, toe-tapping music, and scrumptious delights from a variety of food trucks. This is the perfect place to find unique crafts, artisanal foods, and delightful fall treats.

• Local Vendors: Shop unique crafts and goods from local artisans.
• Live Music: Enjoy performances from local musicians and bands.
• Food Trucks: Savor delicious bites from an array of food trucks offering seasonal specialties.

Scarecrows in the Gardens

WHEN: Sept. 21 – Oct. 31, 2024 | DAILY

Wander through our gardens to find a delightful display of creatively decorated scarecrows that will amuse and inspire. Each scarecrow is crafted by local businesses, organizations, and families, adding a personal touch to this whimsical exhibit.

• Creative Displays: Enjoy a variety of scarecrows, each with its unique theme.

Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee (formerly Boo!)

WHEN: Oct. 26, 2024 | 3:00 – 8:00 PM

Formerly known as Boo!, this event is packed with Halloween-themed fun for all ages. Enjoy trick-or-treating stations, costume contests, and a range of activities designed to bring out the Halloween spirit.

• Trick-or-Treating: Collect candy and treats at various stations throughout the gardens.
• Costume Contests: Show off your best costume for a chance to win exciting prizes.
• Halloween Activities: Participate in spooky crafts, games, and more.

Fall Floral Showcase

WHEN: Oct. 18 – Oct.22, 2024 | 8:00 – 5:00 PM

Revel in the stunning beauty of fall blooms arranged in exquisite displays throughout the Bellingrath Home. Our horticulturists have curated a breathtaking array of autumnal flowers to delight your senses.

• Demonstration: Join Martha Whitney Butler (The French Potager) on October 18th from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM for a program on “Sustainable Floral Designs Using Antique Containers”. Tickets will include the lecture, a Tour of the Home to view the other Showcase Designs, and light refreshments.
• Exquisite Displays: See fall blooms in creative and beautiful arrangements.
• Bellingrath Home: Explore the historic home adorned with seasonal floral displays.

61st Annual Fall Outdoor Cascading Chrysanthemums

WHEN: Oct. 1 – Nov. 30, 2024 | 8:00 – 5:00 PM

Witness our gardens come alive with a breathtaking bloom out. The Outdoor Cascading Chrysanthemums are a highlight of the season, offering a stunning visual treat for all visitors.

• Breathtaking Blooms: Enjoy the sight of cascading chrysanthemums in full bloom.
• Garden Strolls: Take a leisurely walk through our gardens and experience the beauty of fall.
