Scarecrow Setup Days

Celebrate fall with creativity, community spirit, and a touch of whimsy at Bellingrath Gardens & Home!

Join us for our annual Scarecrows in the Gardens exhibition—open to families, local businesses, schools, artists, individuals, and civic or service organizations. Design and build your own scarecrow to be featured throughout the Gardens during this festive fall display. It’s a fun, family-friendly way to get involved, showcase your imagination, and enjoy the beauty of the season.

This event is open to:

• Families
• Schools
• Local businesses
• Artists
• Civic and service organizations
• Individuals of all ages

Included with Registration:

• 2 complimentary daytime admissions to the Gardens during the exhibition period.
• Scarecrow display space within the Gardens (placement determined by Garden staff).

Setup Dates & Times:

Scarecrow installation will take place from Monday, September 16 through Friday, September 20, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Participants must indicate their preferred setup date and time, as well as the number of people who will assist with installation.
Please note: Placement of each scarecrow will be assigned by the Bellingrath horticulture team.

Awards:

• People’s Choice Award – Voted on by Garden guests during the exhibition.
• Executive Director’s Choice – Selected by Bellingrath’s Executive Director.

Winners will be announced on Bellingrath’s social media platforms and in our e-newsletter.
