Easter Egg Hunts on the Great Lawn
Saturday, March 27, 2021
Hop on down to the Gardens and join us for some “eggstra” special Easter fun! On March 27, Bellingrath will host the annual Easter Egg Hunts on the Great Lawn. Thousands of Easter eggs will be scattered across the lawn for children to gather and then exchange for treats! There will be special hunts for different age groups, as well as prizes, candy and “eggtivities,” which makes this a perfect family outing. The Great Lawn offers plenty of room for safe, socially distanced fun.
Children are invited to participate in one of four Egg Hunts depending on their age:
Ages 3 and under: A continuous Easter Egg Hunt from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Children with disabilities: A continuous Easter Egg Hunt for children with disabilities will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Ages 4-6: Easter Egg Hunt from 10 to 10:15 a.m.
Ages 7-Up: Easter Egg Hunt from 10:15 to 10:30 a.m.
Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your child’s Easter Egg Hunt to allow plenty of time to walk from the Entrance Building to the Great Lawn. We ask that children bring their own basket or bag to collect eggs and treats.
The Azalea Trail Maids will be on hand to greet guests throughout the Gardens. Games and craft projects to stimulate children’s creativity will follow on Live Oak Plaza throughout the morning from 9 a.m. until noon.
A professional photographer will be available to take children’s portraits with the Easter Bunny in the Gift Shop Greenhouse.
The Easter Egg Hunt is open to the public. Regular Gardens admission of $14 for adults adults and $8 for children ages 5-12 will be charged. Children ages 4 and under are always admitted free.
If Bellingrath Gardens and Home decides to cancel the event because of inclement weather, guests will receive a full refund of their ticket purchase.
